Counselling and therapy that supports real, lasting change - with pricing options for individual sessions or discounted blocks in Bournemouth, Christchurch & Poole, and online.
£75 for a single counselling session can sound steep at first. I get that. But being honest - one-off sessions rarely lead to meaningful change, and I don’t want you wasting your time or money.
Single sessions are there if you need flexibility, but if you’re serious about getting something lasting from counselling, commitment is what makes the difference.
If you’re ready to put yourself first, a block of five sessions is a solid place to start. By the end, you’ll either have what you came for, or the clarity and momentum to keep going until you get where you want to be.
Real change doesn’t happen overnight. That’s why booking a block of five or ten counselling sessions gives you far more value — and far better results — than dipping in and out.
Sometimes there isn’t a single issue to focus on. There may be several threads - past experiences, current pressures, relationships, or questions about identity - all overlapping, all needing time and space to breathe.
In these cases, ongoing therapy provides the time and stability to make sense of things gradually and work towards meaningful change.
Just like going to the gym, learning a skill, or improving anything that matters, real change costs time, money, and commitment. Therapy is no different. It can take a while to get used to working those thinking and feeling muscles, but over time the investment you’re making in yourself pays off.
With consistent work, you’ll gain clarity, resilience, and self-respect. You’ll feel more grounded, kinder to yourself, and better equipped to make choices that actually work for you.
In the current financial climate, it’s understandable to see counselling or therapy as a luxury. Bills keep rising, and there are always cheaper options available. I’m fully aware there are counsellors, therapists, and mental health services locally and online that charge less than I do.
That doesn’t automatically make them a bad choice — but it does matter how those services are delivered.
Many lower-cost services rely heavily on volunteer or trainee therapists, have long waiting lists, and limited flexibility. Some large online therapy platforms also use session data to train artificial intelligence, while paying inexperienced therapists poorly — putting both sides at risk.
That’s not scaremongering. It’s just something you deserve to be aware of before making a decision.
As a fully qualified and experienced counsellor and psychotherapist, with over 15 years experience, I offer a bespoke counselling service tailored to you - not a system, platform, or script. That includes:
You know who you’re working with, and what you’re getting — every step of the way.
Be wary of services that charge very high or very low fees. Expensive doesn’t always mean high quality, and cheap doesn’t always mean good value. Therapy works best when it’s accessible, consistent, and properly supported.
And to be absolutely clear - the more committed you are, the less money I make. That’s why block bookings are discounted.
Blocks of five or ten sessions can be used weekly or fortnightly. To put that into context, a £500 session block can give you up to 20 weeks of therapy.
Think of it like a personal trainer — but for your brain. That works out at around £25 a week for focused mental health support that helps you build a healthier, more balanced life.
The most important question you need to ask yourself isn’t just about cost, It’s this:
How much time are you prepared to commit, and what are you willing to invest, to change the life that brought you here?
