To enable us to work together in a way that suits you, I can offer safe and secure online therapist sessions via Zoom, WhatsApp video, or telephone. This offers flexibility in terms of when we work together, and less impact on family, work or social commitments that might otherwise be a barrier to you accessing counselling and therapy.
I work from dedicated counselling rooms based in Christchurch and work with clients from across Dorset. Here we can work confidentially at a pace that suits you; as we progress you are likely to develop a greater sense of your needs, so we can tailor our approach as we go so that you gain what you need from the process. My aim is to create a safe, relaxed and warm environment in which you feel comfortable to explore your thoughts, feelings and issues.
I offer walk and talk counselling in Christchurch, based at Hengistbury Head and Christchurch Harbour. As the name describes, clients talk with me while walking outdoors in a beautiful location. Being outside with fresh air, natural light and the benefits of physical activity, offers a unique therapeutic experience that can be less restrictive than sitting indoors or in front of a screen.
Coaching is a bit like counselling, but with a more goal based / outcome focused forward approach. This option can help you overcome a variety of challenges, or to deal with something specific; want to improve performance at work, prepare for a job interview, or get a better job? Want to feel more comfortable in social situations, solve a particular problem, or ride down a a glacier in a crazy mountain bike race? Coaching could be the solution you're looking for.
